Many visitors are more interested in what this site is not:
I am aware that somebody sells collectibles and figurines stamped "www.singingtree.com" in gift stores across the western United States, but I have no idea why. A visitor has suggested that you might be looking for Jeff Fleming Bears if you have such an item.
Similarly, this site has nothing to do with the book The Singing Tree by Sara Voss Newlands, Singing Tree Gardens in Eureka, California, the opera by Erik Bergman, or Daphne Singingtree the Oregon midwife. If you are looking for one of these things, please use the links I have so thoughtfully provided, and don't ask me about them. Really, I know nothing about opera, rhododendrons, or midwifery.
What this is, then, is a small site operated by me, Michael Dickerson, personally, for my own ineffable reasons. I grant accounts on the main server, redlance.singingtree.com, to my friends, work associates, and referrals from same. These accounts are commonly used for personal Web pages, software development, learning Unix, and high quality, noncommercial email service. If any of these things interests you, feel free to ask me for an account. Persons with singingtree accounts are governed by these terms of service.
