Update on Life

Ok, so I'll give a brief update on my life since the last post.

My younger sisters are all moved into their housing. Megan at BYU-I and Mollie here at BYU. I had all sorts of fun trying to help get their technological stuff set up over the phone.....

My nephew is walking around some now. He's really cute and funny, a very lively child, always wandering off to trash something.

The mindset of summer is officially over now that classes have started. I had to get up at 7 am today for my 8 am Introduction to Artificial Intelligence class. As I stated to a roommate this morning, any intelligence I exhibit at 8 am is artificial.

I had a good weekend, now I just have to remember what it involved. A lot of hanging out with people, not necessarily doing anything, just enjoying our existence. Christine leaves for London today, and Abbey leaves for Morocco tomorrow, so our group is dispersing a bit. Josh has moved to his new condo with Brady, so that's a difference in the apartment. We have 3 new roommates, one of whom is my roommate from Freshman year.

A girl, Natalie, from my home ward happened to move into my apartment complex, and ward. What're the chances of that?

Sunday was church as usual, but with basically an entire new ward, there's only about 25 people that stayed in the ward. I spent the time writing in my journal as I often do during church now, since I find it much more interesting than whatever the unprepared teacher is droning about.

Yesterday I got up and played Tennis with Josh, Dan, and Dan's brother. Josh and Dan's brother beat Dan and I in a doubles set 6-3. But it was fun, and we should do it more often. I then took a shower, and Josh gave me another excellent haircut. After which I rushed over to Jessica's (I have still forgotten to ask whether she goes by Jess or Jessica, if you read this, feel free to let me know.) to eat waffles, yum. Then I spent an hour and a half or so getting her cable modem to cooperate with her wireless router. After a quick call to Brady to confirm my suspicion of the underlying problem I figured it out and it now works. Then I rushed back home to hop on a trip up to the South Town Mall in Sandy. I bought a sweet jacket at Express and a graphic Tee at American Eagle. I then came back home, and went back over to Jessica's where we made cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries (both of which were awesome). And then after much indecision tried to go to Thai Ruby, which was closed, and after much more indecision, went to Ottavio's. Discovering that our sisters lived in the same complex at BYU-I we sent them text messages to go meet each other and become friends. By the end of dinner some combination of the foods I had eaten throughout the day was not working well and my stomach was not happy. It was shortly after returning home that I sadly noticed that during the course of the evening the hood pull on my new jacket had become no longer attached sad . At this point I was exhausted, not feeling great, and not happy about the jacket, so I went to bed. Since Express for Men is at South Town Mall, I would have to go all the way up there (like 30 - 45 min) to get this taken care of.... Josh said he'll talk the people from Express in the University Mall since they're usually in the bank for work. Hopefully they can set it up for me to return the jacket there and have a replacement sent down from the Express for Men. That would be really nice, cause I really like that jacket.

And now I'm sitting at work.....

So, I forgot to ask you, what was the deal with the Bum trying to move into your apartment?

I also want to hear about the bum, and am glad that your nephew enjoys 'trashing things'
