Sitting at work again... watching the aforementioned movie that Josh rented from Clean Flicks. I've been working on a.... creative project.... it's coming along at an ok rate... with ok quality... I hope I'll be able to finish it in the requisite amount of time... and with a decent quality... but I guess we'll have to wait and see...

I have a test tomorrow in CS224. So it's on boolean algebra... basic schematics... truth tables... and Karnaugh maps.... all really easy stuff... I should be able to get above a 95 really easily....

Then a bunch of homework to do... And at some point I'll need to attempt to assassinate my target for Assassins... which began today...

Ya, middle school did suck... your friends were kind of silly, and annoyed you with their antics... but then, you did have real friends.... Music... hmm... I don't remember music... I remember... little... I remember teaching myself how to program computers in 6th grade.... mainly because I had nothing else to do... I remember things some might prefer to forget... at the time I had wished things were different... at this time... sometimes I wonder... what if... but what if's make no difference.... and I don't think what if's even matter... it happened... everything that happens... it makes us who we are...

This is weekend update, brought to you by Kyle's Life:

Friday: Took a test (ew) didn't do great on it... cause the sample exam was about 3 times easier than the actual exam.... and I can't remember what else I did on Friday, so it must not have been very exciting...

Saturday: Woke up, went to the mall to return Fuzion Frenzy since some stuff doesn't work on my Xbox for some reason, the guy there tried it on his and it worked fine... so I kept it to try again (still couldn't get it to work.. so I'll be going back to the mall this week) Went to Circuit City and bought a 27" TV (woot!) Good ole Chinese technology knock-offs of Japenese technology. Hooked up my Xbox to the TV and beat Halo2. Then played Fuzion Frenzy 4 player.. then 4 player Sega GT 2002, and then 4 player Halo2... Then went Ice-skating for a stake activity... it was pretty good.. had free donuts and hot chocolate too.. (yum) Got back to the apartment and played co-op Halo2 with Gary. Then played Super Mario-Kart with Dan...

Sunday: Ate a good breakfast prepared by Josh (extra good since I've been out of food for about 3 days at this point) Then we got involved with re-arranging the Living room to accomodate the new TV, with the addition of the original DVD player / Surround Sound system. It actually looks like a real living room now. 3 pieces of original artwork... 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound, DVD player, 27" TV, X-box, a couch, 2 loveseats, a Lamp..... Went to church... came back.... had a group dinner with about 7 people... pasta, chicken, stuffing, corn.. pretty good... The girls tried to make Choc. Chip cookies, but used bad shortening and they tasted gross... luckly they ate them before we did, so we didn't have to try and pretend they tasted good. Then later went over to Coralee's with Brant and made Brown Rice Apple Crisp... which, despite the rice, was actually very good. Then we came back and watched Jurassic Park in the freshly arranged Living Room, with surround sound.... I had to leave before it was over because I had to go to work at Midnight.

Monday: I worked from Midnight to 4 am... got back.. went to sleep until 11:30... went Grocery Shopping (Hallelujah!) Tried to do laundry (many people were doing the same) someone ran my clothes through the washer a 2nd time for some reason.... and, hopefully, right now they're all sitting in the dryer waiting for me to pick them up... Came to work at 4 pm... and it is now 10:30 and I can leave at 11.... at work today we watched Matrix: Reloaded, and Star Trek: First Contact... I ate 2.5 PB & J sandwiches for dinner...

So let's see... at work I got a promotion and a raise (wooot!) pay = pay + $1.10/hr (wooot! again). Tonight at work, ate pizza, drank soda, watched Return of the Jedi.... My work schedule now changes tho, cause they need someone with experience on the late-night part of the shift... so now I work: Monday 4pm - 11pm... Wednesday Midnight - 4 am + 10pm - 4am (Thursday)

So lets see... yesterday.. errr.. Friday, I had classes, did homework, turned in homework.. took the bus to the Mall... bought a 4th Xbox controller, and Fuzion Frenzy... Then I rode the bus back... took apart my Xbox, hooked up the external piece of my mod-chip...and spent a bunch of time learning how to re-lock the harddrive in my Xbox so I could turn off the mod-chip in an attempt to use Xbox Live... but the network here doesn't seem to want to work for Xbox Live..... went and played Snow Soccer... with like 23 people.. it was crazy, cause there was like 8 inches of snow on the ground... and you could just shove people around (without hurting them) and throw snowballs at people... and it's not cold once you start running around wearing a heavy coat/hat/gloves/boots/pants .... Everyone should play Snow Soccer at some point in time....

Sidenote: There are some interesting characters who ride the bus.... there was one guy counting out-loud (practically yelling) as people got on the bus... and then proceeded to yell "Stop, stop stop stop..." whenever ever anyone pulled the "stop request" cord... and then, of course, there's the couple sitting in the middle of the crowded bus who feel it's fine to make out for 3 blocks....

Saturday... I slept in... then played Fable... then took a shower, ate breakfast... played Fable... played Fable.... got the mail... played Fable.... went to Macey's to buy Contact Solution... tore Dan up in Super Mario Kart... watched "Back To The Future part 2" made choc. chip. cookie dough (and broke my rubber spatula in half in the process... stupid cheap wood...); while watching "Back to the Future part 3"... didn't cook the dough... ate it raw (with help from others)... put a bunch in the fridge for later snacking (mmmmm)...

Sunday... we'll see... gotta go to church... then I need to get some Homework done...

(It's fairly interesting living in such close quarters with people... I've been able to study the rise/peak/fall/end of several relationships, and how people are affected by such things... I would almost be interested in living like this for sociological reasons (note I said almost)....)

The new room mate (Brady) seems to be assimilating fairly well.... he, like many others, doesn't know what he wants to major in yet... he seems fairly computer knowledgeable....

2nd day of classes... busy... seems like it will be alright... Bought food last night... mmm... food...... It snowed last night too.. we got like 5 inchse.. and then it lightly snowed all day today... the roomies are planning to go sledding this evening... I, however, get to sit at work instead... hopefully I can get some hw done... nothing much else exciting happening... physics is going to be a pain... have to remember how to do calculus... my religion teacher seems like a control freak.... she wants us to read a 500+ page biography of President Hinckley this semester and then have a test on the entire thing... ya.. I'll just do that with in all the free time I have.....(sigh) school starts again....

Went to my first day of classes... Statistics is going to be... boring.... The CS class I had today seems like it will be fun... Then I had to go to work for 6 hours... Got Panda Express for Dinner (mmm Orange Chicken) Watched the third Harry Potter... Still need to go buy groceries, but luckily Smith's is open 24 hours a day... Just hanging out until I can do that, when Dan gets off the phone with Brianne...

Missing Sandy... want vacation to be longer... don't want to do school stuff yet.... I got used to holding Sandy and watching a movie at night.... feels lonely to not be able to do that now....

Christmas Break:

Much Fun. Got to see people, though not nearly as much as I wanted to... spent 3 days in NH... I don't even know... I could swear 2 weeks didn't go by... maybe 4 days.... but the time just disappeared... I like my vacations to be long enough that when they end I'm happy for a change... I wasn't anywhere near that point this time. I did get the Trans-Siberian Orchestra "The Christmas Trilogy" which is fun... and video games and such.... but the highlight was obviously spending time with Sandy <3.... Muah
