So I'm home now... sitting in the sunroom in CT... No one else is back from school yet... just chilling by myself.

I visited Sandy for 4 days in between leaving SLC and arriving BDL... took a stop at PHL on up to PhilaU via SEPTA.... lots of fun abbreviations there....

Sandy is nice, I like her... hee hee...

Only a week and a half and she'll be home; then home will be home. Until then, I dunno what I'll be doing.

Rundown:
Thursday: Move out of Apartment, clean stuff like whoa, Go to Brick Oven for Lunch with Josh, get a free pizza each, cause they screwed up our orders; go to bank, watch LOTR: TFOTR EE with Diana while Jenny moves out (nap during first DVD), cause I've got nothing to do. Ride bike to Erin/Bryce's, sleep

Friday: Wake up in middle of night cause of freezing cold, put pants on over shorts, and get extra quilt... still cold. Wake up in the morning, go take shower. Josh calls, his car isn't working and he can't take me to the airport frantically call other roomates to see if they're around. Brant and Coralee will be able to drive me to the airport (phew). Go through security, Xray guy asks me about my modded Xbox and how big my hard drive is.... Flight delayed due to bad weather in Chicago... Eventually get to Chicago and then to Philadelphia. Meet Sandy (YAY) get on train to go back PhilaU. Despite listening intently to the conductor we manage to miss our stop and walk an extra half mile from the next stop, with all my luggage. Meet Sandy's Friends (Yan, Alex, Paul) order pizza (extra greasy) and sleep....

Saturday: Go into City, see historic sections of Philly, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell.... It starts raining, alot... Sandy borrows my button shirt due to her wearing a white T-shirt.. me = chilly. Back to PhilaU, change clothes (mmm dry clothes) probably met roommate Andrea at some point in time... I don't remember what else.

Sunday: Go into City to the Franklin Institute (Science Museum) Play wth Science Museum stuff. Go to Planetarium show (Sandy falls asleep). Leave, wander around town looking for food. Wander throught some really sketchy abandoned looking rail stations until finding food. Go back to school. Hang out, Sandy does school work.

Monday: Sleep in while Sandy goes to class, sleep while Sandy goes to Work, Get up, fix Sandy's Computer while Sandy's in class, Get tour of Campus (or was that Sunday.... ) Do stuff, hangout and such, meet Sandy's other roommate, Claire.

Tuesday: Sleep in while Sandy goes to classes again. Wander around Campus by myself, nap in the sun. Pack up my stuff and head to the airport again. Get there much early... wait with Sandy (mmm)... go through Security, get super-searched... sleep on plane, get picked up at BDL, drive home... and here.

So I've finally actually done something with PHP. Check this out: My PHP Game
It's a guessing game, numbers 1-10. Not all that exciting, but it's a start to learning PHP.

I get to go visit Sandy on Friday.. YAY... We're going on a Dance-Cruise thingy....

I bought a 200gb SATA hard drive, and took my old 80gb hard drive and put it into my Xbox... I'm gonna load up all my MP3's onto it, so I'll have a moveable copy of my music library...

All my classes are done... just have to take my finals.. blah... need to pack up my whole room... and get all my stuff over to Erin/Bryce's that's gonna be a pain... I'm really tired... at least I get to sleep as long as I want tomorrow.

Today (Technically today) marks 30 months (if I'm not mistaken)... sigh... it's been so long.. yet it's seemed so short... Muah, I love you Sandy. I get to see you in 9 days... that will be so nice...

Sitting at work again... not much happening.

Took a physics test today... did okay on it.. not great... Only 6 days of classes left.

Today (errr Yesterday... the 5th anyways) was Gary's Birthday. We were watching The Goonies, and I realized that "So Long, Astoria" is about that movie... it was an interesting process of connecting the two. It started when they mentioned Astoria, and then it showed a town sign saying they are in Astoria, Oregon. At that point I kind of thought, "huh, tehere's a song about Astoria." Then later, when they get to the bottom of the wishing well and the kid has his spiel about wishes he says, ".... This is my wish... and I'm taking it back... I'm taking them all back..." and my brain went, "PING!" I know those words from somewhere... Astoria... "taking them all back..." A-Hah! It's the last line from "So Long, Astoria" And then I started thinking about the song.. they talk about pirate ships, buried treasure, adventure, treasure maps... and how it's about the memories made, and not the money, that's important...

So that's my epiphany for the day... I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
