Back to School

Current Music: Some movie on TV
Current Mood: (Sigh... )
Back at school...

Mostly moved in... still waiting to finish the bed, for some reason the crossboard for the shelf doesn't fit this year. I've pretty much decided now that I won't live here next year. I'm going to find something nicer.

I miss Sandy.

Dan's getting married next week. He's squatting in our apartment until he's married so they can move into their apartment.

The abolition of Civil Rights will not be forced upon the people; but by the demands of the masses for security.

That's right. I figured out how to get a hole-in-one on all 3 holes... It took like 15 minutes... but man was that a wild 15 minutes...

Oddly enough the Par 3 was the easiest to get a hole-in-one on.

Nursery School as run by the RIAA
3 August 2005 @ 06:52 AM MST
Current Music: Beethoven, provided free by the BBC - No money for the RIAA
Current Mood: grumble
This is a scene from the not too distant future. A nursery school in Anytown Suburbia, USA. Big Business has taken managerial positions in every industry that exists. Today we show you a nursery school being run by the RIAA. Let's see what happens:

Teacher: Alright kids, it's play time. Tommy, Heather, and Billy, you've been good all morning, go ahead and pick out something to play with... Ok, everyone else go pick something out.

(Moments later)

Sally: Tommy! No Fair! I want to play with the blocks too!

Tommy: NO! I got them first, they're mine!

Sally: Let me have some!

Teacher: Sally, Tommy, what's going on?

Sally: Tommy won't let me play with the blocks.

Teacher: Tommy?

Tommy: I got them first!

Teacher: Sally, did Tommy have the blocks first?

Sally: ..mmbmbm... .yes...

Teacher: So you were trying to steal the blocks from Tommy?

Sally: No... there's lots of blocks... I just wanted a few...

Teacher: Yes, there are lots of blocks, but Tommy claimed them.

Sally: That's not fair.

Teacher: If you want to play with the blocks you'll need to pay Tommy for every 15 minutes you use them, that's how the rest of the world works.

Sally: But Mommy says, "You should share your toys with the other kids."

Teacher: Sounds like Mommy's a communist. Don't worry, we'll get her re-educated on how the consumer world works, and she'll be good as new in no time. Now do you have the money, or not?
