I've been needing a few days off for a long time now. I should be working on my Chess Program, and maybe I'll start on that tomorrow. Just kicking back and relaxing the last 3 days has been good though. Earned ~130 at work; Ate awesome Thanksgiving Dinner (but forget to steal some leftovers); Finished up watching 24 Season One; Got my Video Card back, actually a different one (different serial numbers) but XFX wants to pretend it's the same one, oh, and with a new card everything works fine, but XFX can keep telling themselves their card wasn't bad; baked some chocolate chip cookies (mmmmmm, tasty); Watched Pirates of the Carribbean, The Italian Job, and Red vs Blue Season 2 (all while getting paid at work).
Only 2 things could make this weekend better:
1) If I didn't have to do my Chess Project.
and
2) If Sandy were here with me...
But She bought plane tickets, so I get to have her visit in March (Woot!)
Everyone's going to get all up-in-arms about this next part; but whatever:
So Monday night (technically Tuesday Morning) at ~2:00am I think my right lung started leaking a little. But I had projects and homework due Tuesday that I was working on, and it didn't really hurt, so I just dealt with it. I slept fine, and Tuesday went alright, with only a little pain when I was outside, breathing cold air. Wednesday was about the same, and Thursday started out similar; but by the end of the day it seemed to be a bit better. Today there was only a slight discomfort while I was outside, and seems to be fine at the moment. I didn't have any subcutaneous emphysema like I did the first time; if I had, I would have gone to the hospital. I think I'm fine now, and that my body managed to heal itself.
Also, one of my CS teacher's daughter went to the hospital last Thursday with a collapsed lung. (Which probably means she had a pneumothorax). So we had a grad student teach our class.
Oh, and one of my co-workers drilled into his leg, and missed the major artery by 1/4 of an inch. The doctor told him that if he had hit the artery he more than likely would have been dead. He didn't seem overly concerned about the whole thing, but he was hopped up on painkillers and stuff....
So that's all the fun in Utah, how's everyone doing?
